Zagros Natural Wonders

Lorestan Province sits in the heart of the central Zagros Mountains, characterized by a dramatic limestone karst topography. This collection highlights the region's diverse hydrology, including the 95-meter Nojian Waterfall and the white-foamed Ab Sefid. The area is home to the Oshtorankuh range, reaching elevations over 4,000 meters, and high-altitude basins like Gahar Lake. Geological formations like the five-kilometer Shirez Canyon showcase millions of years of erosion, while the Garin peaks provide essential habitat for endemic flora.

Nojian Waterfall

One of Iran's highest waterfalls, descending approximately 95 meters. It is situated in a forest area rich with medicinal plants and oak trees, southeast of Khorramabad.
