Zagros Natural Wonders

Lorestan Province sits in the heart of the central Zagros Mountains, characterized by a dramatic limestone karst topography. This collection highlights the region's diverse hydrology, including the 95-meter Nojian Waterfall and the white-foamed Ab Sefid. The area is home to the Oshtorankuh range, reaching elevations over 4,000 meters, and high-altitude basins like Gahar Lake. Geological formations like the five-kilometer Shirez Canyon showcase millions of years of erosion, while the Garin peaks provide essential habitat for endemic flora.
