New Hampshire Nature & Parks

Rocky Gorge Scenic Area
A 10-foot waterfall on the Swift River where water has carved a narrow cleft through solid granite. A footbridge provides views of the gorge and the upstream Falls Pond.
Fort Foster Park
Located on Gerrish Island, this former military site contains three historic coastal defense batteries built between 1898 and 1944. It offers views of Whaleback Lighthouse and Portsmouth Harbor.
Sabbaday Waterfall
A three-tier waterfall featuring a 45-foot total drop into a pothole worn into the rock. A gravel path and wooden stairs lead to views of the falls and the narrow flume.
Mount Osceola
A 4,340-foot peak in the Sandwich Range. The summit provides panoramic views of the Waterville Valley and the surrounding White Mountain National Forest.
E Pemigewasset Overlook
A scenic vista point on the Kancamagus Highway offering views of the Osceola Mountains and the Pemigewasset Wilderness area.
F Old Man of the Mountain
The former site of a series of five granite cliff ledges on Cannon Mountain that resembled a human profile. The iconic formation collapsed in May 2003.
G Cannon Mountain
Cannon Mountain is a 4,080-foot peak in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
Chocorua Lake
