Slovakia’s water attractions range from expansive modern resorts to historic 18th-century "tajchy" reservoirs. Large-scale complexes like Tatralandia and AquaCity Poprad utilize geothermal waters for year-round recreation. In the UNESCO-listed Banská Štiavnica region, artificial lakes like Počúvadlo and Klinger, originally built to power silver mines, now serve as natural swimming spots.
