Slovakia’s water attractions range from expansive modern resorts to historic 18th-century "tajchy" reservoirs. Large-scale complexes like Tatralandia and AquaCity Poprad utilize geothermal waters for year-round recreation. In the UNESCO-listed Banská Štiavnica region, artificial lakes like Počúvadlo and Klinger, originally built to power silver mines, now serve as natural swimming spots. The list also includes Bratislava’s Zlaté piesky lake and specialized thermal parks in the eastern regions near Svidník and Zemplínska šírava.
