Military History & Fortifications

This collection highlights the strategic military heritage of the Trutnov region, spanning from the 19th-century Austro-Prussian War to the 20th-century Czechoslovak border defenses. The list features the massive Stachelberg artillery fortress, known for its extensive underground tunnel system, alongside a dense chain of infantry blockhouses built between 1937 and 1938.
