Žilina Essentials

Žilina’s historic core centers on Mariánske Square, distinguished by its unique arcaded townhouses and the Baroque Holy Trinity Cathedral. The city is home to the New Synagogue, a modernist landmark designed by Peter Behrens, and the medieval Budatín Castle, which houses a world-unique exhibition dedicated to the art of tinkering. For panoramic views, the Burian Tower stands in the center, while the nearby Dubeň and Straník hills offer vistas of the Kysuca and Váh river valleys and the Malá Fatra mountains.

Radnica

Považská galéria

Vyhliadková veža Dubeň
