Pitlochry, a Victorian resort town in Perthshire, is defined by its industrial and natural landmarks. The Pitlochry Dam and Fish Ladder facilitate salmon migration between the River Tummel and Loch Faskally. The town’s whisky heritage is represented by the 18th-century Blair Athol Distillery and Edradour, one of Scotland’s smallest traditional distilleries. Natural features include the 60-meter Black Spout waterfall and viewpoints overlooking the River Tummel, while the Heritage Centre, housed in a former kirk, documents local history dating back to the medieval parish of Moulin.
