Rijnland-Palts Onmisbaar

Rijnland-Palts presenteert het UNESCO-werelderfgoed Boven Midden-Rijndal, gekenmerkt door steile wijngaarden en een hoge concentratie middeleeuwse burchten zoals Rheinfels en Burcht Katz. De geschiedenis van de regio strekt zich uit van de democratische betekenis van Slot Hambach tot de Bundesbank-bunker uit de Koude Oorlog in Cochem. Architectonische hoogtepunten zijn onder meer de gotische Sint-Petrus-en-Pauluskerk en het Dürkheimer Fass, het grootste wijnvat ter wereld.
