Peaks and Viewpoints
Rožnov pod Radhoštěm is surrounded by the Vsetínské vrchy and Moravian-Silesian Beskids, offering numerous hiking destinations. This selection features the Jurkovičova rozhledna, a colorful wooden tower designed by architect Dušan Jurkovič, alongside historical bell towers preserved in the local open-air museum. The list also includes the Hradisko peak, home to 13th-century castle ruins, and various surrounding summits like Černá hora and Ostrý that define the landscape of the Rožnovská Bečva valley.
Jurkovičova rozhledna
A 31-meter wooden lookout tower built in 2012 based on 1896 designs by architect Dušan Jurkovič. It stands on Karlův kopec and features traditional Wallachian folk-art nouveau architecture.
Zvonice z Lužné
A 19th-century wooden bell tower relocated from the village of Lužná. It is part of the Wallachian Open Air Museum's collection of regional architecture.
