Alpine Cable Cars and Lifts

This collection features the primary mountain transport systems across Vorarlberg and the Arlberg region. It includes the Pfänderbahn overlooking Lake Constance, the high-altitude Lünerseebahn in the Rätikon mountains, and the Vallugabahn, which reaches 2,811 meters. These lifts provide access to extensive hiking networks, ski resorts like Lech-Zürs and Silvretta Montafon, and unique vantage points such as the Karren's panoramic platform. Many stations are wheelchair accessible and serve as gateways to alpine reservoirs and cross-border trails.

Pfänderbahn Bergstation

Located at 1,064 meters on the Pfänder mountain, this station offers views of Lake Constance and the Alps. It features an Alpine Wildlife Park and a mountain restaurant.

Lünerseebahn Talstation

Valley station situated at the end of the Brandnertal. It serves as the starting point for the ascent to the Lünersee, one of the largest natural mountain lakes in the Alps.

Pfänderbahn

A large-cabin cable car connecting Bregenz to the Pfänder mountain. It ascends 600 vertical meters in approximately six minutes, operating since 1927.

Rüfikopfbahnen Talstation

Located in the center of Lech, this station provides access to the Rüfikopf at 2,350 meters, a key link in the White Ring ski circuit.
