Lakeside Escapes

This selection features the glacial lakes of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, ranging from the vast ribbon lakes of the Masurian Lake District to urban waters in Olsztyn. Key highlights include Lake Łuknajno, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve famous for its mute swan colony, and the deep, navigable waters of Tałty and Nidzkie. These lakes are often interconnected by canals, forming part of the Great Masurian Lakes waterway, and are bordered by the ancient Puszcza Piska forest and rolling moraine hills.
