The Western Cape's varied topography, from the rugged Cederberg to the lush Garden Route, creates a diverse range of waterfall landscapes. This collection includes falls within protected areas like Jonkershoek, Marloth, and Grootvadersbosch nature reserves. Notable sites include the tannin-rich Pepsi Pool in Wilderness and the 60-meter Meiringspoort Falls in the Swartberg Mountains. Many sites require CapeNature or SANParks permits and are most active after winter rains.
