Zakarpattia Oblast Essentials

Zakarpattia Oblast features a diverse landscape ranging from the 2,061-meter summit of Mount Hoverla to the ancient wine cellars of Seredne. This selection includes the 17th-century wooden architecture of St. Nicholas Church, the ruins of the 11th-century Khust Castle, and the glacial waters of Lake Nesamovyte. The region is also home to the 36-meter Trufanets waterfall and the Museum of Mountain Ecology in Rakhiv, which documents the unique biodiversity and cultural history of the Ukrainian Carpathians.

Carpathian Peaks & Passes

This collection features the highest summits and strategic passes of the Ukrainian Carpathians, primarily within the Chornohora, Gorgany, and Svydovets ranges.
