Dibër's Essential Peaks and Lakes

Dibër is defined by the Korab Mountains, home to Albania’s highest peak, and the Lurë-Dejë National Park, which contains a series of high-altitude glacial lakes including Liqeni i Madh and Liqeni i Bruçit. The region's history is reflected in the birthplace of King Zog I, traditional stone kullas, and the ruins of Rreshani Castle. Natural features like the Cave of Val and the Mat River viewpoints highlight the rugged karst terrain and alpine landscapes of northeastern Albania.
