Historic Sites of Extremadura

Extremadura preserves some of Spain's most significant archaeological and architectural treasures. This selection features the UNESCO-listed Roman colony of Augusta Emerita in Mérida, including its remarkably intact theatre, amphitheatre, and aqueducts.
