Gipuzkoa’s landscape is defined by dramatic geological formations and coastal elevations. This collection spans the UNESCO Global Geopark’s flysch cliffs in Zumaia, the unique sandstone labyrinths of Mount Jaizkibel, and the limestone peaks of the Izarraitz massif. These sites offer insights into the region’s natural history, including the K/Pg boundary extinction layer and rare paramoudra fossils, alongside medieval ruins and vantage points overlooking the Bay of Biscay and the San Sebastián coastline.
