Höfn's Must-Sees

Höfn serves as Iceland’s langoustine capital, centered around a harbor where Humarhöfnin prepares local seafood. The town’s maritime history is preserved through the Seamen's Monument and the Akurey SF 52, a former fishing vessel repurposed as a public art installation. Along the rugged coastline, the Hornafjörður and Hellir lighthouses provide essential navigational markers for the local fishing fleet against the backdrop of the Vatnajökull glacier.
