Located in the roadless hamlet of Flørli, this station is the starting point for the world's longest wooden staircase, featuring 4,444 steps that follow old hydro-power water pipes.

Mohidler

A large natural rock shelter and cave located in the Frafjordheiene mountains, historically used as a refuge for hunters and travelers.

Røssdalen

A deep valley known for its flat, lush terrain suitable for backcountry camping. It is a popular starting point for hikes near Øvre Espedal.

Frafjordheiane landskapsvernområde

A protected landscape area covering over 400 square kilometers of rugged mountain terrain between Lysefjorden and Sirdal.

Blåfjellenden

A self-service DNT cabin situated in a central mountain valley, serving as a key junction for hikers traversing the Frafjordheiene region.

Sandvatn

A DNT mountain cabin located 915 meters above sea level. It is a primary stop on the hiking route from Hunnedalen toward Kjerag.

Preikestolen

Beyond the hiking trail, this 604-meter vertical granite face offers multi-pitch traditional climbing routes directly overlooking the Lysefjord.

Uburen

A prominent mountain near Forsand with a 440-meter drop. The steep western face is used for rock climbing and offers views of Høgsfjorden.

Trellskår

A cliff area located along the Lysefjord known for its steep rock faces and established climbing routes.

Langavatn

A DNT self-service cabin located on the high mountain plateau. It is the closest accommodation to the Kjeragbolten boulder for hikers on the Lysefjorden Rundt trail.

Songedalen fjellgard

A historic mountain farm converted into a DNT cabin. It is situated in the Songedalen valley along the Lysefjord hiking route.
