old university

A Neo-Gothic secular building constructed between 1872 and 1891 on the site of a former Dominican monastery. It features an impressive auditorium and serves as the primary ceremonial venue for the university.

Mineralogisches Museum

One of the largest mineralogical collections in Germany, housing over 60,000 specimens of minerals, gemstones, and meteorites. The museum is located in the Kornhaus, a former granary built in 1521.

Zentrale Universitätsbibliothek

The central library of the university, providing access to extensive academic collections and modern study spaces. The current facility, located on the Campus Firmanei, was opened in 2018.

Kugelhaus

A late Gothic building dating to 1491, originally a monastery for the Brothers of the Common Life. It now houses university collections related to religious studies and history.
