Maui County's historic churches reflect the intersection of Hawaiian heritage and missionary influence. Waiola Church

Established in 1823 as the first Christian church on Maui. The adjacent cemetery is the final resting place for early Hawaiian royalty, including Queen Keōpūolani and King Kaumualiʻi.
