Mountain Peaks
This collection features prominent summits in the Salzburg region surrounding Sankt Johann im Pongau and Bischofshofen. The list includes Hochgründeck, one of Europe's highest forested mountains, notable for its wooden Peace Church. Palfnerkogel

Standing at 1,827 meters, this is one of Europe's highest forested mountains. It features the Heinrich-Kiener-Haus mountain hut and the St. Vinzenz Peace Church.
Gernkogel
A 1,787-meter summit accessible via the Alpendorf cable car. It is home to the Geisterberg adventure park, featuring interactive themed stations.
Sonntagskogel
An 1,849-meter peak situated on the border between Sankt Johann and Wagrain, offering panoramic views of the Pongau mountains.
Grafenberg
Reached by the Grafenbergbahn cable car, this 1,702-meter peak hosts the Wagraini’s Grafenberg nature and mountain adventure world.
Hirschkogel
A 1,754-meter peak located within the Snow Space Salzburg area, featuring hiking trails connecting the Gernkogel and Sonntagskogel summits.
Oberes Gründeck
A 1,764-meter peak located along the ridge leading toward the main Hochgründeck summit.
Mittergründeck
A 1,660-meter peak situated on the ridge system between Bischofshofen and the Hochgründeck.
Hochstein
An 1,823-meter summit located near the Hochgründeck, providing views across the Salzach Valley.
Öbristkopf
