Biblioteka Księżnej Anny Amalii

Founded in 1691, this research library is an integral part of the UNESCO World Heritage site "Classical Weimar." It functions as a public archive and research center with a primary focus on European literary and cultural history, specifically the period between 1750 and 1850. The institution serves as a major repository for German literature from the Enlightenment to late Romanticism.

The library's historical building is centered around the famous Rococo Hall, which dates back to 1766.
