This selection highlights the UNESCO-listed Somapura Mahavihara, an 8th-century Buddhist monastery, and the 17th-century Mughal Tahakhana complex. Mughal Tahakhana

A 17th-century two-story complex built by Prince Shah Shuja. It includes a mosque, a tomb, and a 'Tahakhana' or cooling room designed with traditional Mughal architectural elements to provide relief from the heat.

Mirpur Buddhijibi Shahid Minar

GREEK CENOTAPH

A square structure with a Doric-style porch built around 1900. Located within the Dhaka University campus, it is the only surviving monument of the city’s former Greek cemetery.
