Caves and Natural Wonders of Bükk

The Bükk Mountains in Northern Hungary contain a dense concentration of limestone formations and prehistoric sites. This list features the Lillafüred waterfall, the country's highest vertical drop at 20 meters, and the unique travertine Anna Cave. Prehistoric history is represented by the Szeleta and Suba-lyuk caves, where Neanderthal remains and Paleolithic tools were discovered.
