Makarska

The Biokovo mountain range towers over the Makarska Riviera, characterized by dramatic karst topography and significant elevation gains. This list features the range's most prominent summits, including Sveti Jure, the second-highest peak in Croatia at 1,762 meters. These peaks offer panoramic views of the Adriatic islands and the Bosnian hinterland. The terrain is defined by deep sinkholes, limestone pavements, and rare endemic plant species protected within the Biokovo Nature Park.

Sveti Jure

The highest point of Biokovo at 1,762 meters. It features a telecommunications tower and the stone Chapel of St. George, which was rebuilt in 1968.

Vošac

A 1,422-meter summit featuring a mountain hut. It is widely recognized as the primary vantage point for views directly over the town of Makarska.
