Nizhny Novgorod’s religious skyline is defined by its position at the confluence of the Volga and Oka rivers. Sobor Aleksandra Nevskogo
This 19th-century cathedral stands at the confluence of the Volga and Oka rivers. Built between 1868 and 1881, it features an 87-meter high central dome and was designed in an eclectic style to serve the merchants of the Nizhny Novgorod Fair.
Church of St. John the Baptist
The Church of St. John the Baptist is one of the oldest Orthodox churches in Nizhny Novgorod, mentioned from the 15th century.
Rozdestvenskaa cerkov
Built between 1696 and 1719, this church is a premier example of Stroganov Baroque. It is distinguished by its five colorful, intricately patterned domes and detailed white-stone carvings across the red brick facade.

Casovna v cest Svatogo blagovernogo knaza Aleksandra Nevskogo

Sobor Arhangela Mihaila
