Templo de Júpiter

This well-preserved Ancient Roman temple was originally constructed to honor the cult of Jupiter. Following the Roman period, the structure was transformed into a baptistery dedicated to St. John the Baptist.

The rectangular building is characterized by its six-column porch and intricate stone carvings. Inside, the structure features a notable barrel coffered vault, which is recognized for its architectural craftsmanship.

The interior houses a sculpture by the sculptor Ivan Meštrović. The site serves as a historical place of worship, reflecting its functional transformation from a Roman temple to a baptistery.
