Beautiful Beaches

Anglesey's coastline features a diverse range of geological formations and habitats. This selection includes the expansive Traeth Llanddwyn, part of a national nature reserve with views of the Eryri (Snowdonia) mountains, and Benllech, known for its extensive low-tide sands. Smaller coves like Porth Trecastell sit near Neolithic burial chambers, while Traeth yr Ora offers a remote setting overlooking Dulas Island. A

Lligwy Beach

Wide sandy bay with shallow waters. Nearby archaeological sites include the Din Lligwy hut circle and a Neolithic burial chamber.

Sandy beach within a national nature reserve. It leads to Ynys Llanddwyn, a tidal island featuring the ruins of St Dwynwen's Church and a historic lighthouse.
