This collection spans the cultural evolution of Central Greece, centered on the UNESCO World Heritage site of Delphi, the ancient seat of the Pythian oracle. It includes the Delphi Archaeological Museum, housing the Charioteer and the Sphinx of Naxos. The list also features the 10th-century Hosios Loukas Monastery, a masterpiece of Middle Byzantine architecture and mosaics.
