Гарачико
Garachico is a small town on the north-west coast of Tenerife, in the Canary Islands. It was the island's main port until a volcanic eruption in 1706 buried the harbour, and it was rebuilt around its rocky coast. Today it is a quiet, picturesque place with stone houses, balconies, plazas and natural seawater pools made from solidified lava.
It is a good stop on a drive around the island, or a quiet base away from the southern resorts.
