Komárno Fortification System

The Komárno-Komárom fortification system is a massive 19th-century military complex spanning the Danube between Slovakia and Hungary. Built to protect the Austro-Hungarian Empire, it features the Old and New Fortresses alongside the extensive Palatine and Vaag defensive lines.
