Kosovo’s strategic landscape is defined by medieval fortifications that served as vital military and administrative centers. This collection features hilltop strongholds like the Prizren Fortress, which contains Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman layers, and the Zvečan Fortress, situated on an extinct volcanic cone.
