Lednice Essentials

The Lednice-Valtice Cultural Landscape is a UNESCO World Heritage site centered around the neo-Gothic Lednice Château. This collection features a sprawling English-style park and formal French gardens, notable for a 19th-century cast-iron greenhouse and the 60-meter-tall Moorish Revival Minaret. The estate is dotted with romantic follies, including the artificial ruins of Janohrad Castle, the Empire-style Temple of Apollo overlooking local ponds, and several Classicist pavilions designed for the Liechtenstein family’s leisure and hunting activities.
