Italian Archaeological Treasures

This collection highlights the diverse archaeological heritage of the Campania region, centered around the UNESCO-listed remains of Paestum and Velia. It features exceptionally preserved Doric temples from the 6th and 5th centuries BC, the philosophical birthplace of the Eleatic school, and the protohistoric river settlement of Longola. From Lucanian fortifications at Roccagloriosa to the Roman villas and medieval structures along the Amalfi Coast, these sites document the transition from Magna Graecia to the Roman Empire.
