Riva del Garda’s religious architecture spans from 12th-century Romanesque structures to ornate 17th-century Baroque masterpieces. Chiesa dell'Inviolata

A 17th-century Baroque masterpiece with an octagonal exterior and a lavishly decorated interior. Built between 1603 and 1636, it features intricate frescoes, stucco work, and carved wooden altars.

Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta

The main parish church of Riva del Garda, rebuilt in 1727 in the Baroque style. The single-nave interior contains several side chapels and artworks by local painters, including Giuseppe Alberti.

Chiesa di San Giorgio

Located in the mountain hamlet of Pregasina, this parish church dates back to the 16th century. It underwent significant restoration in the 19th century and overlooks the northern end of Lake Garda.

Chiesa della Beata Vergine della Vittorie

A 16th-century subsidiary church located in Linfano. Traditionally associated with the victory at the Battle of Lepanto, it serves as a simple local place of worship in the rural Basso Sarca area.

Chiesa di San Tomaso

A 12th-century Romanesque church dedicated to St. Thomas of Canterbury. It is one of the oldest religious buildings in the area, featuring characteristic stone masonry and fragments of medieval frescoes.

Chiesa di Santa Maria dell'Assunta

The 19th-century parish church of Varone, dedicated to the Annunciation of Mary. Built in a neoclassical style, it serves as the primary religious center for the community near the Varone Waterfall.
