Russia's Natural Wonders

Russia's vast landscape hosts extreme geological features, from the volcanic Kamchatka Peninsula to the remote Putorana Mountains. This collection includes the symmetrical Kronotsky stratovolcano, the active Kizimen, and Alaid, the highest peak in the Kuril Islands. It also features massive human-made and natural formations, such as the Mirny diamond mine and the mysterious Patomskiy Crater. Remote hydrological landmarks are represented by the Talnikovy and Kinzelyuk waterfalls, which are among the tallest in the country.
