Bor District and the surrounding Iron Gates region contain a dense concentration of karst phenomena and protected landscapes. This selection highlights major subterranean systems, including Lazar's Cave, the longest in Serbia, and the river-accessible Ponicova and Veterani caves in the Danube Gorge. Alongside these geological sites, the list features the Rajska prerast natural bridge, the scenic Boletinski greben viewpoint, and the primary urban parks of Bor and Majdanpek.
