The city's architectural diversity is represented by the Italian Barracks and the former Austro-Hungarian Consulate, while the "Water Drop" Olympic Stadium showcases modern engineering. Cultural heritage extends to the Yuling Tomb of Emperor Qianlong and the reconstructed Ming-era streets of Beitang Ancient Town.
