Ortisei Highlights

Ortisei serves as a gateway to the Dolomites, blending South Tyrolean traditions with Ladin culture. This collection features the 2,519-meter Seceda peak and the Resciesa plateau, offering panoramic views of the Odle Group. Cultural highlights include the Museum Gherdëina’s heritage exhibits and the UNIKA Gallery’s contemporary wood sculptures. Significant religious sites range from the 15th-century St. Anna’s Chapel to the Renaissance-style St. Antonius Church and the historic St. Jacob’s Church, the oldest in the valley.
