Općina Vrsar Essentials

Vrsar is defined by its hilltop old town and the 12-kilometer-long Lim Fjord, a protected landscape known for shellfish farming. The area features Romanesque architecture like the 12th-century Basilica of St. Mary of the Sea and the modernist Dušan Džamonja Sculpture Park. Historic viewpoints, including one named for Giacomo Casanova, overlook an archipelago of 18 uninhabited islands.
