Parks and Nature in Wernigerode

Wernigerode’s natural landscape features a mix of historical palace gardens and expansive wildlife areas. The Lustgarten and Burggraben provide green spaces directly adjacent to the town's iconic castle, while the Agnesberg viewpoint offers a direct line of sight to the fortress and the Harz mountains. Further from the center, the Bürgerpark hosts over 60 themed gardens and miniature Harz models.
