Begin at the Kunsthaus, the city's leading art museum, then cross the historic centre to the twin-towered Grossmünster, the Town Hall on the riverbank, the Lindenhof terrace with its view over the rooftops, St. Peter's giant clock face and the Chagall windows of Fraumünster. Follow Bahnhofstrasse down to the lake at Quaibrücke and finish at the Opera House on Sechseläutenplatz. The walk starts at the Kunsthaus, served by a tram stop of the same name.
