Bristol's Floating Harbour, a 70-acre dock system dating back to 1809, serves as a living museum of maritime engineering. This collection features historic vessels like the 1861 steam tug Mayflower and the Matthew, a replica of John Cabot's 15th-century ship. The waterways are spanned by diverse structures, from the historic stone Bristol Bridge to the modern pedestrian Pero’s Bridge.
