Established in 1855 near the sea, this garden benefits from Gotland’s mild maritime climate to cultivate exotic species. It features a notable collection of magnolias, mulberry trees, and a large rose garden adjacent to the medieval city wall.

Kruttornet

Also known as the Gunpowder Tower, this is the oldest surviving part of Visby’s fortifications, dating back to approximately 1160. Originally built as a free-standing defensive tower to protect the harbor, it was later integrated into the city wall.
