Walk through the centre of Manchester and meet the landmarks that shaped it: a Roman fort, the world's oldest surviving passenger railway station, grand Victorian civic buildings, a green heart at Piccadilly Gardens, a medieval cathedral and the home of football. The walk starts at the reconstructed Roman fort in Castlefield, a short walk from the Deansgate-Castlefield tram stop, and finishes at the Royal Exchange in St Ann's Square.
