San Vito di Cadore’s religious landscape centers on the 15th-century Chiesa della Madonna della Difesa, renowned for its vivid frescoes depicting historical battles. The collection includes the parish church of San Vito, Modesto, and Crescenzia, which houses works by Francesco Vecellio, and the smaller plague chapel of Santi Rocco e Sebastiano in Serdes.
