Morocco’s archaeological landscape spans from the Roman ruins of Volubilis to the medieval Marinid Tombs in Fes. This collection features the 12th-century Almoravid Koubba, the oldest building in Marrakech, alongside the 16th-century El Badi Palace. Coastal defenses include the 18th-century Skala Du Port in Essaouira, while inland sites like Chellah in Rabat and the Taourirt Kasbah in Ouarzazate showcase defensive architecture and royal necropolises.
