Poros Essentials

Poros is characterized by its neoclassical waterfront, narrow sea channel, and dense pine forests. POROS CLOCK TOWER

Built in 1927 on the island's highest point, this neoclassical landmark offers 360-degree views of the Saronic Gulf and the Peloponnesian coast.

Dana Light House

A square stone lighthouse built in 1870 at the entrance of the Poros strait. It is accessible via a walking trail from Gerolimenas.

Poseidon Temple

Archaeological remains of a 6th-century BC Doric sanctuary. It served as a center for the Kalaurian Amphictyony and was the site where the orator Demosthenes sought asylum.
