Historic Castle Ruins

Scala, the oldest village on the Amalfi Coast, preserves a significant network of medieval fortifications and ecclesiastical ruins. The list also includes the Castello di Fratta and its associated defensive walls, which formed a critical part of the Duchy of Amalfi's historical military architecture.
